Create a GitHub repository
Go to github.com/new → Name it my-website → Create repository (public or private, both work)

Upload your file to GitHub
Inside your new repo → click Add file → Upload files → drag your index.html → click Commit changes

Go to vercel.com/new → Sign in with GitHub → Import your repository → click Deploy
